Once there was a leprachaun named Henry. Henry ran outside all day. He enjoyed looking at the sky after it had just rained. One day he saw something shaped like an ark going across the sky and ending behind a mountain. He thought “I wonder what is over there?”. He decided to hike over to the end. He crossed creeks, climbed over tall rocks, and squeezed between tight spaces. When he finally got there he saw large pot of gold. “Why would someone leave a pot of gold, without anybody here to protect it?” Henry said to himself . Henry say down next to it to guard it. Thats why there is said to be a leprachaun at the end of rainbows. Henry travels with the rainbows to make sure that nobody takes any gold.

The poem “Invictus” was a very important poem to Nelson Mandela. It was important because it described the time that he and many other African American were going through. In the poem it states “I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul”, Nelson Mandela was the master of his fate, by becoming a rugby coach and winning the Rugby World Cup. After he won that, some people respected African Americans more after they won. The poem also states “Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.” This verse states that if you find him, he will not be scared. Nelson Mandela was not scared of the discrimination that he faced. Those are just some reasons why “Invictus” might have been important to Nelson Mandela.

Some similarities between these to are….. They both faced discrimination, and segregation.  Mandela and King both dreamed of a time when segregation and discrimination would be gone.  The differences they had were….. Nelson Mandela was in South Africa , and Martin Luther King lived in the United States. Mandela went had a rugby team that won the Rugby World Cup to help stop the segrgation, (which was much worse in South Africa). To help stop it in the U.S he led freedom marches and gave speeches about it. Those are some similarites and differences.
